How It Began

Compliance Education Institute (CEI) was created to address a gap in the market around vendor management and 3rd party risk management programs.

“Go read Guidance” or “Do what your policy says” is not a great answer when it comes to managing vendor relationships. A standard for designing, building and implementing a 3^rd party risk management program is needed. Enter our flagship certification course, the Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM®), which addresses this need in the marketplace.

Mission: Make Better Business Decisions

The objective has always been to help organizations make better business decisions. This is achieved through education and practical information that can be put to use right away so that clients can stay a step ahead and better understand the risks associated with outsourcing. A better understanding of risks leads to making better business decisions and ultimately mitigating those risks.

Over time, additional content has been added to the certification path, aiding professionals as they mature in their confidence and competence with respect to vendor management and 3rd party risk.

More than 4,000 registrants throughout 20+ countries have received their CRVPM® designation and many have gone on to take advanced levels of certification, as well as additional specialized courses.
